We recycle many items; however, there are items we cannot take due to the​​​​​​ harmful impact they may have on our environment. Some items need to be cleaned to be recycled. This page is here to help you get your items ready to recycle.
Transforming your landscape can be challenging, especially if your yard is cluttered. But you can leave the worry behind with our recycling services. We’ll help you enhance the appearance of your yard and protect the environment.

Materials We Accept

This is a list of things we will accept. If you don’t see it on the list, feel free to call, and we can let you know if we can accept it.

Wood & Landscape

We accept wood debris as long as it does not contain the materials listed below. We will accept construction lumber if it is ​​clean. ​We also accept landscape debris such as grass, leaves, bushes, roots, tree trimmings, dirt, concrete, etc.

Metal Recycling

We accept most metals, ferrous and non-ferrous, as long as it does not contain any of the listed materials below. Metals must be ​​​sorted and ready for sale before it enters our property.

Unacceptable Materials: Wood and Landscaping

Listed below are the wood and landscaping materials we don’t take.

Unclean Construction Lumber

Lumber that has drywall, sheetrock, shingles, roof paper, wallpaper, etc., will not be accepted.

Creosote Treated Lumber

Most common lumber includes; Railroad Ties, ​Telephone Pulls, some Fence Posts, etc.

Unacceptable Materials: Metal Recycling

We don’t take Metals Containing or Covered In the following:

Petroleum-Based Products

Fuel, Grease, Oil

Gasses

Propane, Helium, Refrigerant, etc.

Household Chemicals

Paints, Solvents, Stains, Cleaners, etc.

Items that contain Mercury

Asbestos

Verifying Your Metal is Clean

Metal items that need to be emptied of unwanted materials include but are not limited to Engine Blocks, Transmissions, Cylinders and Tanks, A/C and Refrigerators, and other compartments that may hold unwanted materials.

Engine Blocks and Transmissions must-have oil pans and filters removed. ​​Cylinders and Tanks must have valves removed or tennis ball-sized inspection holes. Compressors must be disconnected from units to show the unit is void of gasses.

Our employees have been instructed to monitor hazards that may come through our scrap metal area. There will never be an exception made for hazardous materials. The employee has the final word on whether the item is accepted.
